Stellantis Reports €2.3 Billion Net Loss in First Half

Stellantis, the auto giant encompassing Jeep, Dodge, and others, anticipates a €2.3 billion net loss for the first half of 2024. This is attributed to pre-tax charges (€3.3 billion), higher industrial costs, currency fluctuations, and US tariffs (€300 million initial impact). First-half revenue is estimated at €74.3 billion, down from €85 billion in the same period last year. Second-quarter shipments fell 6% year-on-year, with a 25% drop in North America due to tariffs and reduced production. The full report is scheduled for July 29th.
