Leaks suggest Apple's upcoming iPhone 17 Air will feature a significantly smaller battery than other iPhone 17 models, with a capacity not exceeding 3000mAh. This is considerably less than the rumored 5000mAh in the iPhone 17 Pro Max and even less than the 3500mAh in last year's iPhone 16 and 16 Pro. To compensate, Apple is reportedly introducing an Adaptive Power mode in iOS 17 and a new battery case accessory. The smaller battery could be a major drawback for potential buyers.
