Sarepta Therapeutics will not halt Elevidys shipments despite three deaths linked to its gene therapies. The FDA reported two teenage boys with Duchenne muscular dystrophy died from acute liver failure after receiving Elevidys. A separate death, a 51-year-old in a limb-girdle muscular dystrophy trial, also occurred due to acute liver failure. Sarepta continues distribution despite these fatalities.
