A Pew Research Center survey across 24 countries reveals shifting global perceptions of the US and China. While the US still enjoys a more favorable view than China (49% vs 37%), the gap is narrowing. Views of the US have declined significantly in many nations, while views of China have become slightly more positive. Confidence in both Trump and Xi Jinping is low, though Trump's ratings are higher in more countries. Increasingly, people see China as the world's leading economy, although the US remains a more important economic partner for most surveyed.
