HBO's Harry Potter TV series has begun production at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden. Dominic McLaughlin, Arabella Stanton, and Alastair Stout star as Harry, Hermione, and Ron, respectively. A large ensemble cast, including John Lithgow as Dumbledore and other notable actors, has been assembled. The series, adapting each book into a season, is slated for a 2027 premiere on HBO and HBO Max. Season 1 filming is expected to conclude in Spring 2026.
