A new report by the Israeli Dinah Project alleges Hamas employed sexual violence as a genocidal tactic during the October 7th attack on Israel. Based on survivor testimonies and other evidence, the report details widespread sexual assault, including rape and forced nudity, inflicted upon hostages. The report provides a legal framework for prosecuting these crimes, even without direct perpetrator identification. Hamas denies these accusations. The UN has also found reasonable grounds to believe conflict-related sexual violence occurred during the attack.
