Kirk Tanner, Wendy's CEO, will become the new chief executive of The Hershey Company on August 18th, replacing Michele Buck who is retiring after nearly 20 years. Tanner's extensive background at PepsiCo and his recent tenure at Wendy's make him a strong candidate, according to Hershey's search committee. Wendy's CFO, Ken Cook, will serve as interim CEO until a permanent replacement is found.
