Early Thursday, June 26th, Moscow and surrounding regions experienced a large-scale drone attack, with explosions reported in multiple areas. Russian authorities claim air defenses shot down two drones targeting Moscow and 50 others across several regions. Vnukovo Airport temporarily restricted operations. Simultaneously, Ukraine reported repelling a Russian drone attack, neutralizing 24 Shahed drones and other UAVs. Recent Ukrainian drone strikes also reportedly damaged a major Russian defense facility in Taganrog, impacting residential areas and infrastructure.
