Ananda Lewis, a former MTV VJ and host of shows like "Total Request Live" and "The Ananda Lewis Show," passed away at 52 from breast cancer. Her sister confirmed her death in Los Angeles. Lewis, who publicly discussed her stage IV breast cancer diagnosis in 2020 and 2024, began her career at BET before joining MTV in 1997. After leaving MTV, she pursued other hosting roles and carpentry. She is survived by her son, Langston.
