A Harvard University study of 47,000 women over 30 years found that drinking at least one cup of caffeinated coffee daily is associated with healthier aging. Participants who consumed more coffee (up to 2.5 cups) showed a 5% increased chance of maintaining physical and cognitive health into old age. Conversely, soda consumption was linked to a decreased likelihood of healthy aging. The study, led by Dr. Sara Mahdavi, highlights coffee's potential benefits across multiple health domains, including disease prevention and cognitive function.
