Approximately 250 million bees escaped in Washington state after a semi-truck carrying 70,000 pounds of honeybee hives overturned. Authorities urged residents to stay at least 200 yards away. Over two dozen beekeepers helped recover the hives, and most bees are expected to return. While stings occurred, officials stated there's no significant public health risk. The bees were en route to South Dakota after pollinating a local blueberry field.
