UN Accused of Spreading Gaza Aid Misinformation

Read, Watch or Listen

The Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) accused UN Spokesperson Stephane Dujarric and UN Relief Chief Tom Fletcher of spreading misinformation regarding humanitarian aid in Gaza. COGAT claims Fletcher's recent statements about numerous aid trucks waiting to enter Gaza are false, contrasting them with the reality of hundreds of trucks already inside Gaza awaiting UN pickup. COGAT further criticized the UN's alleged prioritization of cooperation with Hamas over Israel, hindering aid distribution. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) reported that approximately 900 aid trucks have entered Gaza but remain stalled due to UN and Hamas actions. COGAT urged the UN to utilize alternative, safer routes offered to expedite aid delivery.
