A 55-year-old Chinese paraglider, Peng Yujiang, survived an incredible ordeal after being swept 8,598 meters into a cloud vortex in the Qilian Mountains. Despite the extreme altitude and frigid temperatures (-40°C), he miraculously survived and filmed the event. However, local authorities have reportedly punished him, sparking disbelief on Chinese social media.
