Upgraded Toyota RAV4 Plug-In Hybrid Offers Fast Charging

Read, Watch or Listen

Toyota's 2026 RAV4 Plug-In Hybrid boasts significant upgrades, including a 50-mile all-electric range, 320 horsepower, and DC fast-charging on select trims. This improved model, along with the upcoming bZ and CH-R EVs, signals Toyota's increased commitment to plug-in vehicles. The RAV4 PHEV will use a CCS charger, unlike Toyota's other EVs which utilize the NACS plug. While its smaller battery size means charging speeds won't rival fully electric models, it still represents a major improvement over its predecessor. The new model's availability and pricing will be announced later this year.
