US immigration authorities have reportedly begun deporting migrants from Myanmar and Vietnam to South Sudan, potentially violating a court order prohibiting removals to third countries without due process. Attorneys representing the migrants claim up to a dozen individuals were deported to Africa. One confirmed case involves a Myanmar man flown to South Sudan. Another report details a Vietnamese man and up to ten others also deported. Lawyers have requested an emergency court order to halt these deportations, citing the Massachusetts court ruling.
