Fed leans toward one rate cut this year

US Treasury yields fell slightly Tuesday morning following the Federal Reserve's indication of a single interest rate cut in 2025. The 30-year yield dropped nearly 3 basis points, while the 10-year and 2-year yields decreased by 2 and 1 basis points respectively. This comes after Moody's downgraded the US credit rating to Aa1, a move analysts deemed largely inconsequential to market impact.
