Restaurant Brands International (QSR) Q1 2025 earnings

Restaurant Brands International (RBI) reported lower-than-expected quarterly earnings and revenue, with same-store sales declining at Popeyes, Burger King, and Tim Hortons. Earnings per share were 75 cents, missing the 78-cent expectation, while revenue reached $2.11 billion versus the anticipated $2.13 billion. Despite the shortfall, RBI CEO Josh Kobza expressed confidence in a sales turnaround, citing improved momentum in the second quarter. Tim Hortons' sales fell 0.1%, Burger King's dropped 1.3%, and Popeyes' declined 4%. However, international sales showed growth, and RBI maintained its 2025 forecast.
