Syrian Druze, a religious minority, widely believe in reincarnation. Many recount vivid memories of past lives, including specific details verifiable through family members and community records. These accounts often involve sudden deaths in previous lives, followed by reincarnation as newborns. While not all Druze share this belief, those who do often find acceptance within their communities. Research by Dr. Jim Tucker at the University of Virginia supports the existence of such memories in various cultures, though it doesn't prove reincarnation itself. This belief, however, has made the Druze targets of Islamic militants who deem them infidels.
