Microsoft's recent price hikes for its Xbox consoles have made the PlayStation 5 Slim Digital a more attractive option. Sony's current bundles, including Astro Bot, are priced at $399.99, significantly undercutting the increased price of the Xbox Series S. While the Xbox Series S offers portability, the PS5 Slim Digital provides comparable performance and storage at a lower cost. Although the author prefers Xbox Game Pass, they acknowledge the improved value proposition of the PlayStation for gamers not invested in that ecosystem.
