Nintendo's latest Switch update introduces Virtual Game Cards for sharing digital games. While this new feature allows for game sharing via a website, it simultaneously closes a loophole that previously allowed simultaneous online play of shared games. Users can still share games using the older method, but concurrent online play is no longer permitted with that system. This change may disappoint users who previously relied on this feature.
