Boeing (BA) Q1 2025 earnings

Boeing reported a reduced first-quarter net loss of $31 million, compared to $355 million the previous year, with revenue up 18% to $19.5 billion. Improved cash flow and increased airplane deliveries (130 vs 83 in Q1 2024) contributed to the positive results. CEO Kelly Ortberg announced plans to seek FAA approval to boost 737 Max production to 42 planes per month. The company is navigating global trade tariffs and addressing internal challenges, including low employee morale, while focusing on core businesses and securing major contracts like the F-47 fighter jet.
