Fyre Festival 2, promoted by convicted fraudster Billy McFarland, has been postponed. The event, scheduled for Isla Mujeres, Mexico, from May 30 to June 2, faced opposition from Mexican officials who denied knowledge of or permits for the festival. Tickets, priced from $1400, were already on sale. Refunds are being issued to ticket holders, with a future date yet to be announced. McFarland maintains that he had necessary permits, contradicting official statements.
