Sony is increasing PlayStation 5 console prices in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand, citing economic challenges like inflation and currency fluctuations. The price hikes, effective April 14th, affect the digital edition PS5, while the standard version's price remains unchanged in some regions. In Europe, the digital edition will cost €500 and in the UK £430. In Australia, the standard PS5 will cost AUD $830, and the digital edition AUD $750. New Zealand prices are NZD $950 and NZD $860 respectively. These increases mark a significant price jump from the console's launch price in various territories.
