Nintendo will begin sending invitations for Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders on May 8th, 2025. Pre-order requirements include a 12-month Nintendo Switch Online membership and 50 in-game hours. While the initial $450 price tag remains uncertain, analysts predict Nintendo will absorb potential tariff increases rather than raise the price. Invitations will be sent periodically until the My Nintendo Store opens to all.
