US stocks surged following President Trump's announcement of a 90-day pause on some tariffs. The Dow Jones climbed 2,370 points (6.3%), the S&P 500 rose 7.4%, and the Nasdaq jumped 9.6%. This reversed losses from last week's tariff announcements. However, Trump also announced increased tariffs on China, and European markets experienced declines.
