In the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake, a new character appears in Castle Town. The Dorito‑shaped man, known as the Bearded Guy of Castle Town, has no real name but is described as tall, imposing, and sporting a regal‑as‑fuck “face mane” that hangs down his face and onto his giant chest. Nintendo added him to the remake, and he is used as a gag to point players toward Talon, the owner of Lon Lon Ranch, who also has a beard. The Bearded Guy’s beard acts as a “beacon” that can locate other bearded men throughout all of Hyrule, leading to a side objective that rewards a horse for faster travel across the land.
