iOS 27.2 adds new features to FaceTime, Messages, Podcasts, Photos, and more.

Dual Capture now works on all video calls, even with groups.

Previously limited to one‑on‑one calls, the feature lets users show both front and rear cameras simultaneously.

On an iPhone 17 or newer, simply hit the ‘Flip’ button during a video call to activate both cameras.

The upgrade is especially useful for parents who want grandparents to see both them and their children at once.

The only drawback is that everyone in the call must have iOS 27, iPadOS 27, or macOS 27 installed.

Additionally, iOS 27.2 adds support for third‑party sign language interpreters and live captioning.

Inside the three‑dot icon, a ‘Sign Language’ button lets users pick an installed VRS app.
