During the Packers’ Thursday Night Football game against the Carolina Panthers, wide receiver Christian Watson suffered an apparent injury after making a 53‑yard completion.
Watson was working against Panthers cornerback Will Lee in coverage when he hauled in the ball, then went to the ground and landed hard on top of the ball.
He remained down after the play and received immediate medical attention from the Packers’ staff.
Watson eventually exited the field and headed into the blue medical tent for further evaluation.
