Duane “Keffe D” Davis, the man convicted of orchestrating the 1996 murder of rapper Tupac Shakur, has been moved to a high‑security facility in the Las Vegas area. The 63‑year‑old was sentenced to forty years to life on October 13 after a jury found him guilty of first‑degree murder in August. Prosecutors argued Davis helped plan the drive‑by shooting that followed an altercation involving Tupac’s entourage at the MGM Grand. Shakur was shot on September 7, 1996, and died six days later at twenty‑five years old. Davis is the sole person charged in the case, which remained unsolved for nearly thirty years.
