Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe was announced in two thousand twenty‑two, yet details remain scarce.

Ubisoft’s recent blog post confirms the project is progressing, describing it as a darker Assassin’s Creed experience and noting that a major update will arrive in two thousand twenty‑seven.

The post includes a cryptic string of characters that fans may decode, though its meaning is unknown.

Hexe is expected to be the first mainline title after Assassin’s Creed Shadows, which released in two thousand twenty‑five.

Earlier this year, leaks suggested a returning character and internal changes to magical elements, while staffing shifts saw the departure of the game’s director and creative director.

The teaser’s spooky theme hints at witchcraft, but no release date or setting has been disclosed.
