Yaga Struggles to Deliver Witchy Thrills | JQJO

The Canadian thriller "Yaga" airs on AMC+ in the United States and stars Hudson Williams as billionaire heir Henry Park. The series, adapted from Kat Sandler’s play, follows Park’s missing‑person case in rural British Columbia, with Noah Reid’s fixer Rapp tracking the case. Critics note the show’s eight‑episode run suffers from choppy pacing, poor casting and a lack of eroticism that made "Heated Rivalry" successful. While Carrie‑Ann Moss provides the only seductive presence, the series fails to deepen its Baba Yaga myth, offering only platitudes about witches. Viewers seeking seasonal scares may prefer other alternatives.
