The 2024 NFL Draft made history by selecting six quarterbacks in the top twelve picks. Early in their third seasons, Caleb Williams of the Chicago Bears and Drake Maye of the New England Patriots have emerged as standout performers. Both teams hold a 4‑2 record, with the Patriots having recently won three consecutive games, including a victory over the Buffalo Bills. Maye’s recent slump has ended, as he has thrown ten touchdowns and one interception in his last three contests. Williams returned from a hamstring injury to lead the Bears to a 31‑23 win over the Atlanta Falcons, setting the stage for a high‑stakes matchup on Thursday night. The game promises to showcase two 24‑year‑old quarterbacks poised to become long‑term stars.
