Rico Dowdle a Week‑7 Fantasy RB Start, Tony Pollard a Sit | JQJO

Fantasy football analysts recommend starting Pittsburgh Steelers running back Rico Dowdle in Week 7 against the New Orleans Saints, citing the Saints’ high allowance of 28.7 half‑PPR points per game to running backs. Dowdle, who returned from a dislocated toe, split carries with Jaylen Warren in Week 6 and is expected to see significant opportunities in Week 7. Conversely, Tennessee Titans running back Tony Pollard is advised to sit, as the Titans face a tough matchup against the Cleveland Browns, who give up only 14.6 points per game to running backs. Pollard’s Week 6 performance—19 carries for 76 yards—did not justify a start. The Steelers’ head coach, Mike McCarthy, plans to keep both backs involved, noting that “Jaylen is one of the hottest players in the National Football League…and I know what Rico can do.”

Anthropic (ANTH.PVT) is set to publicly file its S‑1 investor prospectus as soon as Friday, according to three people familiar with the artificial intelligence firm’s plans.

The filing would clear a key procedural hurdle toward a potential November listing, though the timing remains subject to market conditions.

Anthropic confidentially submitted a draft IPO registration statement to the Securities and Exchange Commission in June, and under SEC rules must make its registration materials available 15 calendar days before the start of its formal investor roadshow.

The company pulled in $16.3 billion in revenue over the first six months of 2026 and reported a net loss of over $80 billion, according to a Tuesday Wall Street Journal report.

Wall Street is anticipating that the company could raise as much as $100 billion at a $2 trillion valuation, Reuters previously reported.

Anthropic is spending billions on AI infrastructure to train and run its suite of Claude models, working with Google and Amazon and renting GPU capacity from SpaceX’s Colossus 1 data center.

Terry McLaurin of the Washington Commanders was carted off the field with a season‑ending knee injury on Monday night, ending his 2026 campaign. The news comes as the league prepares for Week 7 of the 2026 NFL season.

The UK government approved production from the Jackdaw gas field in the North Sea, a decision that has sparked intense debate over environmental and economic impacts. Ministers said the first gas could be produced by the end of this month, helping heat millions of homes, and announced the creation of a new energy wealth fund. Environmental campaigners warned the decision would hamper efforts to tackle climate change and make no meaningful difference to UK energy security. Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch accused the prime minister of dithering on Jackdaw and urged the repeal of a ban on new oil and gas licences. Andy Burnham defended the decision, saying the previous Tory government had messed up the original choice.

The New Orleans Saints have announced that rookie wide receiver Jordyn Tyson will not practice this week. General Manager Mickey Loomis said at a Wednesday press conference that Tyson, who was drafted eighth overall, will not be in Paris for the Sunday game against the Steelers. Tyson has been sidelined since a hamstring injury in mid‑August, and head coach Kellen Moore noted the injury is unrelated to previous hamstring issues. Loomis said the player is improving but offered no specific timetable for his return. The Saints’ bye in Week eight means the earliest possible debut is the Week nine home game against the Browns.

The Milwaukee Brewers announced that American Family Field will host watch parties for World Series games three and four. Fans can purchase tickets for $15, with a limit of six per person. The Los Angeles Chargers plan to simplify their offense following confusion over pre‑snap motion. Head coach Jim Harbaugh said the team will narrow the playbook during the bye week. The offense used motion on seventy‑four percent of snaps last week, the fourth highest in the league. The team’s worst offense in the NFL hopes these changes improve production. Justin Herbert struggled in the loss to the Chiefs, throwing only one touchdown in each of his first five games.

Australian independent MP Helen Haines, 65, had both legs amputated after being struck by a car on Monday near her Wangaratta office. The incident, described by police as a targeted attack, left her in a stable condition at a Melbourne hospital. Haines’ husband, Phil, said surgeons had to amputate her legs after days in intensive care. Brendan Nugent, 43, was charged with dangerous driving causing serious injury, intentionally causing serious injury, and the federal offence of harming a public official, carrying a maximum 10‑year sentence. Nugent also faces charges for cannabis cultivation and possession. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese praised Haines as a “fighter” and called for respectful disagreement amid rising threats to elected officials.
