Tsuchioto Works, a Tokyo design studio, has launched a new pocket‑sized multi‑tool called the Blackjaw on Kickstarter. The device folds pliers, two blades, a saw, two screwdrivers, two openers, and a carabiner into a single frame that measures 4.2 inches long and weighs 7.8 ounces. It clips to a belt loop with a built‑in carabiner for easy access. The campaign price is $90, dropping to about $80 for Super Early Bird backers, and will rise to $119 after the campaign ends. Shipping to the U.S. adds $15, bringing the total to $105. The Blackjaw is expected to ship in March 2027. Unlike the Leatherman Wave+, the Blackjaw has no detachable parts, which reduces the risk of losing bits but limits it to only a Phillips and a flat‑head driver.
