Apple’s latest iOS 27.2 beta introduces three notable changes. The Messages app now offers a Suggestions feature, allowing users to create calendar events, reminders, notes, map directions, or flight and package alerts directly from a message. In the Home app, new smart‑lock settings let users lock doors automatically after closing and receive notifications if a door remains open for five, ten, fifteen, or thirty minutes. Apple Music also receives a subtle redesign, replacing the iconic red accent with black and white icons and a blue accent for the active tab. These updates reflect Apple’s ongoing refinement of user experience and smart‑home integration, though early reactions suggest some users prefer the previous designs.
