Tap title to read story
Five weeks into the NFL season, three teams remain unbeaten, with the San Francisco 49ers leading the charge. Head coach Kyle Shanahan has guided the 49ers to a five‑game winning streak, defeating former conference finalists Denver, Seattle, and Los Angeles.
Quarterback Brock Purdy, the former Mr. Irrelevant, has thrown thirteen touchdown passes and only two interceptions, earning MVP consideration.
Meanwhile, Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh faces mounting pressure after a winless start and offensive struggles. Hired in January, Harbaugh’s five‑year, $80‑million contract aimed to propel the franchise to the Super Bowl, yet the team’s performance has fallen short. The upcoming Week Six matchups, including a Monday Night game against Washington, will test both teams’ resilience.
