MadTree Brewing, founded in January two thousand thirteen, began brewing its first batch on January twelfth. By April that year the company opened a taproom featuring five beers on tap, marking its entry into Cincinnati’s craft scene. In February two thousand seventeen, the brewery celebrated a grand opening, drawing fifteen thousand guests to its new facility. The following year, in March two thousand sixteen, MadTree released its Proper Session Ale in cans, expanding distribution beyond draft. In October two thousand fourteen, the business began selling headbands alongside beer, signaling a shift toward a broader lifestyle brand. By January two thousand twenty-three, the company celebrated its tenth anniversary, having evolved into a hospitality hub that hosts events, food, and community gatherings. Today, MadTree’s growth strategy focuses on physical locations and a self‑feeding ecosystem, positioning it as a model for craft breweries seeking sustainable expansion.
