TechCrunch reports that Truecaller has launched a free-to-access web and Android service called Scam Checker, allowing users to paste a suspicious phone number, link, or message to determine if it is fraudulent. The tool pulls related reports from Truecaller’s community and ScamFeed, but detailed information about a phone number, including the associated name, is only available through Truecaller’s existing sign‑in service.
