Travis Kelce recorded 9 catches for 101 yards and a touchdown in a 33-30 overtime win against the Indianapolis Colts, passing Pro Football Hall of Famer Marshall Faulk to become the NFL's all-time leader in career receiving yards after the catch (YAC). Kelce reached a historic benchmark of 6,288 career YAC, cementing his status as one of the most prolific pass-catchers in league history. Following the dramatic victory, Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid issued a playful public challenge regarding Kelce's ongoing retirement speculation, stating that if the tight end hangs around long enough, he will break all of the franchise and league records. While retirement talk remains an ongoing storyline, Kelce's immediate focus remains on maintaining elite on-field production as the 2026 NFL season progresses.
