Data startup Snorkel AI has secured $350 million in a fresh funding round, bringing its valuation to $3.5 billion. Led by Insight Partners and S32, with participation from Addition, Greylock, and Wells Fargo, the round nearly triples the company's previous $1.3 billion valuation from May 2025. Co-founded in 2019 by Stanford AI lab researchers, the San Francisco-based company reported that its annualized revenue run-rate has surged to over $350 million, up from approximately $20 million the prior year. This rapid expansion is driven by its data-as-a-service model launched in September 2025, which supplies finished datasets and reinforcement-learning environments to frontier AI labs, hyperscalers, enterprises, and the federal government. Snorkel employs an agentic data development platform combining human experts across technical fields with thousands of specialized AI models to automate quality assurance. CEO Alex Ratner stated that the new capital will support hiring, enterprise expansion, and third-party model evaluations, with the company expecting profitability this year.
