Singer Jack Avery has filed court documents opposing a custody and visitation request from his ex-partner, TikTok influencer Gabbie Gonzalez, regarding their seven-year-old daughter, Lavender. Avery stated in the legal filing that a criminal protective order remains active, legally blocking Gonzalez from having any direct or indirect contact. The custody dispute precedes a scheduled trial set for October 20 and 21. Avery argued against modifying the existing custody arrangement, asserting that the child is thriving and stable under his care. Gonzalez was arrested four months prior and charged in connection with an alleged murder-for-hire plot targeting Avery, in which prosecutors claim she conspired with her family members to orchestrate an attack. Gonzalez has entered a plea of not guilty to the charges. In his response, Avery submitted supporting declarations from his former partner Alexis Abner and a former foster caregiver, who warned that renewed contact could cause severe emotional distress to the child. A judge previously denied Gonzalez's separate request for parenting time in July.
