Security Stops Alleged Trespasser on Kamala Harris’ Malibu Property

Onsite security personnel at the Malibu residence of former Vice President Kamala Harris intercepted a woman who allegedly trespassed onto the grounds late Friday night. The incident occurred at approximately 10:30 p.m. local time on September 12, 2026. Security guards confronted the individual outside the main house before alerting the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Deputies were subsequently dispatched to the location to investigate the security breach. Authorities confirmed that neither Kamala Harris nor her husband, Doug Emhoff, were present at the residence during the incident. Law enforcement officials reported that no arrests were made in connection with the event, and the identity of the woman has not been released to the public. The Malibu/Lost Hills sheriff’s station stated that local patrols around the property are being stepped up as a precaution. Police and private security teams are continuing to review the circumstances surrounding how the perimeter was breached.
