UFC Legend Diego Sanchez Arrested for Aggravated DUI and Probation Violation in New Mexico

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship star Diego Sanchez was arrested by the Socorro City Police Department in New Mexico on Monday and booked into the Socorro County Jail. The forty-four-year-old athlete faces charges of aggravated driving under the influence and a probation violation. According to jail records and law enforcement officials, Sanchez registered a blood-alcohol concentration exceeding point sixteen, which represents more than twice the legal driving limit. This arrest breaches the conditions of a five-year supervised probation sentence issued earlier this year. That probation resulted from a July twenty twenty-five firearm incident in Albuquerque, where a plea agreement allowed Sanchez to avoid prison time under the strict judicial requirement to completely abstain from alcohol. Sanchez achieved sports prominence as the inaugural winner of The Ultimate Fighter in two thousand five and competed professionally within the organization until twenty twenty-two. Local authorities are currently holding him pending further court proceedings regarding the probation revocation.
