The artist shared video footage documenting the journey on Friday, noting that the trek involved navigating severe terrain and heat following rain at the festival grounds in Nevada. Diplo performed multiple sets at the annual event, with his final performance concluding around midmorning on Friday before he departed on foot. Subsequent discussions inside a transport vehicle revealed differing estimates regarding the exact length and duration of the journey, with a companion's device tracking a shorter high-intensity interval while Diplo estimated the trip lasted approximately two hours. This marks another dramatic exit from the festival for the artist, who previously experienced similar logistical challenges during the 2023 event when heavy mud prompted him and comedian Chris Rock to hitchhike out of the desert.
