One year after 37-year-old Vadim Kruglov was found stabbed to death inside a tent at the Burning Man festival in Nevada's Black Rock Desert, investigators have made no arrests and still cannot account for his final hours. Discovered on August 30, 2025, with a knife lodged in his neck and no defensive wounds, Kruglov's death marks the first recorded homicide in the festival's history. Pershing County Sheriff's officials recovered the murder weapon and Kruglov's locked cell phone, yielding multiple DNA profiles from the scene.
