Aaron Judge Hopes to Skip Minor League Rehab

New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge announced he hopes to bypass a minor league rehab assignment upon returning from the injured list. Judge has been sidelined since early June due to a right rib stress fracture. Speaking at Yankee Stadium, the star slugger stated that minor league games offer little value given his extensive major league experience and familiarity with his body. He is currently ramping up baseball activities, including overhand batting practice and facing pitching machines. The Yankees captain slashed .248 with 17 home runs and 38 RBIs across 59 games before his injury. New York holds the top American League Wild Card position with a 75 to 57 record as the regular season enters its final stretch. Manager Aaron Boone and medical staff are closely monitoring his recovery milestones. Judge remains extremely optimistic about rejoining the active roster without needing any minor league rehabilitation appearances before September concludes.
