Hyundai Motor announced plans to launch or refresh over one hundred global vehicles by 2030, aiming to lift its operating profit margin above nine percent. Revealed during its CEO Investor Day in Seoul, the automaker plans fifty-eight North American model introductions to target underrepresented market segments. Chief Executive Jose Munoz highlighted a major hybrid expansion, projecting hybrids to comprise half of regional sales by 2030 amid rising fuel-efficient vehicle demand. The company also intends to boost North American production capacity by 500,000 units. Strategic technology partnerships include Level two plus software-driven vehicles with Nvidia by 2028 and Waymo robotaxi deliveries beginning in late 2026. Boston Dynamics humanoid robots will deploy at its Georgia Metaplant starting in 2028. Despite these initiatives, shares fell 3.3 percent following the maintenance of a 35 percent net profit shareholder return ratio and potential exposure to trade policy uncertainties.
