The clip, captured on the band's Kiss Cam segment at Gillette Stadium, featured frontman Chris Martin commenting on the pair before the video spread widely across social media platforms. Astronomer issued a public statement confirming the board inquiry, emphasizing that corporate leaders are held to strict standards of conduct and accountability. The enterprise data infrastructure firm also refuted unverified claims that additional employees attended the concert with the executives and dismissed unauthorized statements attributed to leadership. Byron, who has led the unicorn-status software company since 2023, and Cabot, who joined in late 2024, face scrutiny over potential governance and workplace policy implications.
