Activision and Treyarch have officially detailed the midseason update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone, titled Season 05 Reloaded, set to launch on August 20, 2026, at 9:00 AM PT. The centerpiece of the update is "Rex Infernus," which serves as the final round-based Zombies map concluding the Dark Aether storyline for Black Ops 7. The patch adds returning features including the Widow's Wine Perk-a-Cola, new enemy variants, and legacy weapons such as the Olympia shotgun and TR2 marksman rifle. Multiplayer modes receive "Turbo Tilt," a small-scale pinball-themed 6v6 and 2v2 map, alongside the "Freerun: Descent" obstacle course. Warzone updates include the deployment of Special Delivery Drones and returning limited-time playlists. The update arrives as the final major content wave ahead of upcoming franchise transitions scheduled for autumn 2026.
