PUBLISHED Aug 27, 2026, 7:13 PM ET

During CrowdStrike second quarter fiscal earnings call on August twenty sixth Chief Executive Officer George Kurtz warned that rapid artificial intelligence adoption creates dangerous cybersecurity gaps that legacy tools fail to handle. Kurtz stated that autonomous AI agents and automated threat tools are outpacing traditional signature based security systems across enterprise networks. The company reported total revenue of one point forty seven billion dollars marking a twenty six percent annual increase. Annual recurring revenue reached five point eighty four billion dollars driven by robust demand for cloud identity and AI detection products. Management noted that expanding non human identities significantly broaden corporate attack surfaces. Consequently CrowdStrike raised its full year fiscal revenue guidance to between five point ninety nine billion and six billion dollars. Investor reaction drove stock prices higher following the earnings report. The cybersecurity firm emphasizes that automated defenses remain critical as digital environments face sophisticated machine threats.
